Directions for use (general)
- Wash and dry hands thoroughly.
- Remove a lancet from its sterile packaging.
- If present, remove the needle’s protective cap by twisting or pulling according to instructions.
- Place the tip against the side of the fingertip.
- Press to lance the skin and obtain a blood drop.
- Apply the blood drop to the test strip of the glucose meter.
- Dispose of the used lancet immediately in an approved sharps container.
